Hampers delivered Australia-wide

our footprint

We are working hard to be Tassie’s leading eco-friendly hamper business. Eco and socially responsible isn't always easy when running a small business, but is something we are striving to achieve, without sacrificing quality our exceptional customer service.

We source all our hamper contents from local Tassie makers and creators.  We prefer to deal directly with the people who produce the goods, so we can engage in their passion and enjoy building relationships with them. This also avoids the carbon footprint of importing products from the mainland.

While it is currently impossible to avoid single use plastics in food packaging and preservation, we do have the discussion with all our suppliers and collaborators about our anti single-use plastic stance and get their commitment to review and implement similar practices as when solutions become available.

We do not use synthetic ribbons, plastic cellophane, or any single-use plastic accessories to pack our hampers. We believe it would be irresponsible and lazy to be sending out anything that will end up in landfill for the next 100 years.

Our Australian made hampers use recycled cardboard and are 100% recyclable. We pack the hampers using hessian and jute string, which is plant based and perfectly compostable.  We hope our packaging of cardboard, hessian and jute string can be reused where possible, and if not, it can be safely composted.

In store we reuse packaging when we can, and we have all waste cardboard collected for recycling.

We strive to separate our green and other waste and pay for our organic green waste to be collected for composting every week.
